education
During the fall of 1972 I was a surveying student at PSC when Prof Fee began his career. I did not know him well nor he I. I was struck by his knowledge and demeanor. He worked us hard but was fair and word of praise from him went a long way. I found him to be much different from some of the other forestry instructors. He was much more approachable and there was only constructive critism from him.
In October 1972 I visited a friend who was a civil engineering student at the Univ of NH. I attended his surveying instructional class. I immediately saw the difference between the education being taught at PSC and UNH. Ours was much better.
I graduated PSC and took job as a rodman for the CT DOT. Within 3 years I was acting party chief, thanks to the lessons of Prof. Fee. I then left surveying and changed careers but I was always grateful to have been Prof Fee's student.
