Condolence: I never thought a person could have such a profound impact on another person than Creighton Fee had on me and the many, many surveying and forestry students at Paul Smith's College. I truly looked forward to every time after graduation that we were able to re-connect. I hope that I have half the impact on the young surveyors & engineering professionals that I encounter as he had on others. It was an honor and a privelage to have known him. I thank God for that blessing in my life. Like the leaning pine, he will never be replaced...May he rest in peace and his legacy live on.

Condolence: Professor Fee was a wonderful teacher and lot of fun in class. I still smile when I remember him making the rounds through the woods from one student crew to the next, with his little compass mounted on the breast pocket of his wool coat. PSC '81

Condolence: Prof. C.C. Fee was one of my greatest influences at Paul Smith's. He was a great teacher - very tough, but I learned a great deal. They don't make them like him anymore. Deepest condolences to his family.

Condolence: Creighton was an important mentor in my life. His teachings and advice have guided me from the first day I met him. It was that very first day in class that he gave me the nickname “Little Dutch Boy”. Neither of us ever forgot that name, although he pretended that he did when I presented him an alumni award a couple years ago. He had me going, but that was his sense of humor that I so appreciated. This summer when we went to the alumni reunion his insisted on stopping for ice cream on the way home. He made sure he had money before he left home as he already had the stop planned. It was the best ice cream cone I ever had. Creighton will live forever in my mind. My sincere condolences to his family.

Condolence: Prof. Fee was a great man, he always said it like it was, held you to the line, and even though he drove some students crazy in surveying class, he always earned their respect -and rightfully so. His family should be proud that he left such a good impression on so many people.

Condolence: Prof. Fee was a good and hard instructor. We didn't know it at the time with him being hard on us, how it would help us later in our surveying careers. I look back fondly at the great time I had in his classes, with his glass water jug slung over his shoulder taking a drink, looking over your shoulder while you took one of his tests.
My heartfelt condolences to his family, he will be missed.
