"Let me entertain you," he almost always said as he rolled up his sleeves, sat on the corner of his desk, and adjusted the music stand he kept in his room. That's how I will always remember Larrie N. Parker, who was my high school history teacher at Brushton Moira Central. A dedicated teacher, he made class fun. Better yet, he also inspired. Even though I graduated BMC in '71 and have had many teachers since, Larrie was and remains one of my all time favorites.
