Larrie N. Parker, 79 of Pleasant Drive, Norfolk NY, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at CVPH Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY. He was born in Long Lake, NY August 22, 1937, the son of Lawrence Parker and Annie (Nordan) Parker. Larrie was a high school teacher at Brushton-Moira Central School, a high school principal at Mayville Central School and a Superintendent at Dundee Central School and Norwood-Norfolk Central School.

He enjoyed coaching and playing basketball with his children, hunting, golfing and gardening. His true love, however, was traveling the country. Larrie spent long winters in Florida and traveled most of the country with only two states left to visit.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Dawne Parker of Clifton Park, NY; a daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Michael Allen of Massena, NY; two brothers and three sister-in-laws Gerald and Loretta Parker of White River Junction, Vermont, Gary and Carol Parker of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Sharon Parker of Tupper Lake, NY; five grandchildren Therese and husband Michael O' Laughlin II, Emily Allen, Dakota Allen, Brandie and husband Tom Bratton, and Frank Stellaccio; and four great grandchildren Michael O'Laughlin III, Lillian O'Laughlin, Katherine O'Laughlin and Chloe Bratton.

In addition to his parents, Larrie was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Diane (Bourdeau) Parker and his brother Rowley Parker. Family and friends may call Monday, May 8th, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Stuart Fortune Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake, NY. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 9th, 2017 at 11 AM at the Wesleyan Church in Long Lake, NY.
