He is with his peers, raising a glass of salute to his comrades in arms already there and those yet to come. His valor in combat, fighting behind enemy lines in relative anonymity, recognized by his adopted country with the 2nd highest combat award - the Distinguished Service Cross, was a shining example of what America is. His familly, his most visible legacy, I hope, can find comfort and take pride in the inheritance, however, he has left to us all - our freedom.
