Bobby Loving
My deepest sympathy in the loss of dear Connie. I worked with Connie for 2 years at UVA's emergency room (1982-1984). Connie took me under her wing and mothered me while I was at work. She was truly one of the sweetest, most caring, most empathetic people I have ever known. Though I was with her only 2 short years, she left a profound impact on my life. When I think of how best to minister to people and offer them comfort in trying times, Connie is one of the best examples I can think of. She was always comforting and calming not only to ER patients and their families but to her co-workers as well. I have thought of her fondly many times since I left UVA and will miss her so much. Again, please accept my deepest sympathy. God bless you all as you deal with this adjustment.
