Obituary for Guildor Lizotte

Guildor Lizotte, 75, of Tupper Lake, passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Mercy Living center where he had resided since June. Born January 12, 1942 in St. Francois, New Brunswick, he was the son of Leo and Aurella (St Jean) Lizotte. Guildor grew up in New Brunswick and moved to Tupper Lake in 1964. He worked his whole life as a lumberjack in the Tupper Lake area retiring in 2014. He is survived by three daughters; Maureen Lizotte Thompson of Sneads Ferry, NC, Julie Grifman and her husband David of Santa Clarita, CA, Tina Eakins and her husband Dwayne of Wallace, NC, one son Peter Lizotte of Sneads Ferry, NC. Grandchildren; Christopher Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Halie Alcocks, Kaitlyn Renison, Emilee Renison, Madison Grifman, Maximillian Grifman, Bethany Lizotte, Jordan Lizotte, Allison McDonough and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Jeannel, four sisters; Guilda Lebel, Gisele Sirnois, Anne Perreault and Rina Thibeault. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, November 29 from 3 - 5 pm followed by a funeral service at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake. A reception will follow at the VFW.
