Obituary for Lenora E Seaman (LaPelle)

LONG LAKE
Lenora E. Seaman, 94, of Long Lake, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Born March 6, 1923 in Long Lake. She was the daughter of Ranson and Vera (Stanton) LaPelle. A lifelong resident of Long Lake, Lenora was married to Clifford Seaman. They owned and operated Seaman's Cabins for over 60 years. She was a lifelong member of the Wesleyan church. Lenora was totally devoted to and lived for her family and her Lord. She is survived by 2 daughters; Roberta Chapman and her husband Carl, Dorothy Duckett and her husband Ed, 3 sons; Clifton and his wife Sharon, Clark and his wife Gail and Craig and his wife Karen and son-in-law Ralph Chapman. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. She was pre-deceased by her husband Clifford in March 1989, daughter Linda Chapman, son-in-law James Daniels and 1 great grandson. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, November 3, from 5 - 7pm and Saturday from 12:00- 2pm at the Wesleyan church In Long Lake followed by a funeral service. Burial will be in the Long Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wesleyan church or the Long Lake Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are with the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home, 24 Cliff Ave., Tupper Lake.
