Zena Baker, 50, of Tupper Lake passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016. Born March 3, 1966 in Warsaw, NY, she was the daughter of Zenus and Pearl Hutchinson. Zena always had a passion for life and in her youth she always sought to bring excitement to her own. As she got older that passion didn’t die it merely changed from her own life to the lives of her children and grandchildren. She always made the best of every situation and told others to do the same. She had a passion for animals and whether calm or wild they shared a connection with her. While she held many jobs through her life, it was in traveling as a ride along and driving truck around the country that she was able to bring all her passions together. She enjoyed finding new experiences and seeing various places and animals and then coming home to her loved ones to share her stories. Zena is Survived by her children Tiffany Fifield, David Baker, Melissa Burnett, Devon Parks and Matthew Bohin all originally from Tupper Lake. She is additionally survived by her grandchildren Devin Nicholson, Kaylee Burnett, Logan Burnett, Molly Burnett, Skyler Baker, and Julien Baker.
Zena is also survived by her mother June Hutchinson of Tupper Lake, her brother Zenus J Hutchinson of Greencastle PA and her sister Tammy Foley also from Greencastle, PA. She is survived by her sisters Pamela Card and Barb Theriault from Alabama, her sister Kathleen Hutchinson from Shortsville, NY as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother Kevin Baker of Tupper Lake, NY.
She is predeceased by her father Zenus E Hutchinson of Tupper Lake and her sister Anne Bliss of Batavia Ny.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, June12th at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home.
