WWII Veteran dies at 90.
Albert P. Trombley of Tupper Lake, NY dies with family and friends by his side.
From 1941-1946 He was a 1st class gunner's mate during WWII serving on the USS Alexandria, and the USS Queen Elizabeth.
He married Lorraine T. Trombley on November 29, 1950. Started his life in Tupper Lake.
He was a loving husband, devoted father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. "PERCY" loved greeting his neighborhood furry friends, loved riding his scooter to eat his breakfast at the Lumber Jack where he would see all his old buddies. He loved going to garage sales with his son Greg. He enjoyed spending time with his friend Dave Francisco. He loved bullhead fishing with his neighbor Danny, Ice fishing with his Granddaughter Breanna. He was an avid hunter, always looking for that 10 pointer He enjoyed the outdoors. He always had a big heart and would give you the world if he could. He devoted time caring for his favorite cat. He always greeted everyone with a smile, remained pleasant, witty and never let his disability hind his way of living right up until the end of his extraordinary life.

He is survived by one daughter Tina, three sons Gregory and his wife Venetia. Richard, and John. one sister Theresa Riley one brother Robert Trombley. nine Grandchildren Christian, Ryan and his wife Elizabeth, Matthew. Jason, Trevor and his wife Amber, Corey, Breanna, David and Richie, 3 Great-grand children Merceedes, Jamira and Aiden
He is preceded in death by his wife Lorraine, his parents Albert and Regina Trombley, his brothers Louis and Charles; and his sisters Nita St.Onge, Elizabeth Grucelski, Rita Pentlen, Dora Hayes, Bernardette LaBarge, Florence Bressette and Patricia Trombley.
Calling hours are scheduled at the Stuart-Fortune- Keough Funeral Home on Monday, May 9 from 4 - 7 pm. A Military burial will be celebrated at a later date.
