    Bradley David  Colbert
    Bradley David Colbert, Tupper Lake, NY and formally of Norwood, NY died peacefully surrounded by his family at University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, Vermont on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the young age of 43. Born in Massena, NY on April 8, 1972, he was the son of David and Monique (Kessler) Colbert. Graduated with a regents diploma from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in 1990 where he was a member of the National Honor Society.

    Enlisted in the United States Army, March 1991 and served in the Army and Vermont National Guard for 16 years. He went on to study electrical engineering technology at SUNY Canton, Canton NY.

    On May 30th, 1998 he married the former Michelle Manning in Tupper Lake, NY.

    Brad had been mployed by the Sunmount Development Center for 20 years until the time of his death.

    Described by family and friends as a loving and kind person, Brad was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his family's camp in the Adirondacks. Brad was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He had a passion for working on computers and utilizing the latest technology. In his free time, Brad enjoyed restoring his 1955 classic Dodge pickup truck.



    Brad is survived by his wife Michelle Manning Colbert and son Jacob Colbert, Tupper Lake, NY; Parents, David and Monique, Norfolk, NY, Father-in-law Gerald and Mother-in-law, Linda Manning, Tupper Lake, NY; Sister Gloria Colbert and her husband Jack LaShomb, Amherst, NY; Brother Frank Colbert and his wife Julia, Norwood, NY; Brother Robert Colbert and his wife Lisa, Norwood, NY; Sister-in-law Julie (Manning) Masuicca and her husband Brian, Oswego, NY; sister-in-law Sara Manning and her husband Abe Gnann, Syracuse, NY; Nephews Douglas Colbert, Parishville, NY, and William LaShomb, Amherst, NY; nieces Julianna LaShomb, Amherst, NY and Brianna Masuicca, Oswego, NY. Calling hours are scheduled for Saturday, February 20th from 4 - 6 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake.

    Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society through the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, Tupper Lake, NY.
