Theresa A. Yaworski, 86 of Tupper Lake, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on, February 11, 2016. Born on January 9, 1930, in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Emile and Evelyn LaLonde.

Theresa married John Yaworski on February 1,1953, in Tupper Lake, NY. They were married for 47 years, before John’s passing in June of 2000.
She was an amazing mother, wife and cook and had a passion for reading.
She thoroughly enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. She loved Christmas and was well known for her home made bread.

She is survived by one sister Barbara Kasper of Sachse, TX a sister-in-law Barbara (Yaworski) Kavey of Tupper Lake; four sons Jon, Michael and his wife Susan, Marc and his wife Linda, and Kurt, of Tupper Lake; two daughters, Jan Kinberg of Tupper Lake and Mrs. Howard (Trish) Heald of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Geraldine Beaudette and Gladys Boushie, one brother Sherman LaLonde, daughter-in-law Clara Yaworski and granddaughter Aimee Poirier-Curry. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 4-7pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Tupper Lake.
A funeral mass will be will be held on Wednesday, February 17th at the St. Alphonsus Church at 10 a.m.
