Bernadette Alliegro-Stofan, 64, passed away April 2, 2015 at Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, VT. Born December 5, 1950 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Carl and Helen Alliegro. Bernadette grew up in Brooklyn and moved to Tupper Lake in 1989. On December 7, 1999 she married John Stofan. Bernadette was employed at Mercy Healthcare for 15 years. She is survived by her husband, one daughter Yvonne O'Keefe of Florida, a grandson Damon and a great-granddaughter. Bernadette loved the Adirondacks being outdoors camping and fishing. She also had a passion for cooking. There will be no calling hours, services will be private.
