Condolence: He is with his peers, raising a glass of salute to his comrades in arms already there and those yet to come. His valor in combat, fighting behind enemy lines in relative anonymity, recognized by his adopted country with the 2nd highest combat award - the Distinguished Service Cross, was a shining example of what America is. His familly, his most visible legacy, I hope, can find comfort and take pride in the inheritance, however, he has left to us all - our freedom.

Condolence: RENE AND I WERE FELLOWS AT THE MAYO CLINIC IN THE 1950'S. LAST SAW HIM AT HIS HOME IN HAWAII IN EARLY 1970'S. HIS EXPLOITS DURING WW2 WERE NEVER MENTIONED. Condolence: My firing party will be rendering honors for Mr. Joyeuse tomorrow at Arlington National Cemetery. I am honored to do so. I am ecstatic to hear that our Nation is welcoming such a Hero into our hallowed grounds. We shall keep watch over him forever.
